Lorraine Slevin

Neshanic Station, NJ- Lorraine (Scuderi) Slevin, 57, entered into eternal life on Monday, July 16, 2012 at St. Peter’s University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of Virginia (Piesco) Scuderi and the late Vincent Scuderi, she had resided in Wantagh, Long Island, Staten Island, and Middlesex Borough prior to settling to Neshanic Station in 2001.

Lorraine was involved in her children’s Home School Associations and was a volunteer with many of their school activities. She was a homemaker who took great pride in caring for her family. Lorraine had worked part-time at Learning Express in Long Hill Township. She was a faithful parishioner of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church in Three Bridges.

Besides her father, Lorraine was predeceased by her brother John Scuderi and her husband’s parents, Kathleen and Patrick Slevin.

Lorraine is survived by her loving husband of twenty-eight years, John P. Slevin, with whom she joined hands in marriage on December 3, 1983. She will be deeply missed by her cherished children, Melissa Slevin and Christopher Slevin, both at home; dear brother, Thomas Scuderi and his wife Cathy; adored nephew, TJ; beloved sisters-in-law, Eileen Slevin and her husband Donald Rising and Mary Boyle and her husband Michael Boyle; and adored niece, Kaitlin Boyle.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Tuesday, July 17 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and on Wednesday, July 18 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday, July 19 from 9:45 a.m. until 10:15 a.m.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 19 beginning 10:15 a.m. at Countryside Funeral Home followed by an 11:00 a.m. funeral liturgy at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church in Three Bridges. Lorraine will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Burial Park in Jamesburg.
