Neshanic Station, NJ – Kenneth B. French, 69, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington. Born in Rockland, ME, son of the late Malcolm and Wetonah LaVonne (Sawyer) French, Ken had lived in Stamford, CT for a few years, Bedford Hills, NY for six years and then moved to Neshanic Station in October of 1977.

Ken was honorably discharged as an E-4 SPC from the United States National Guard after faithfully serving his country from 1964-1970. After twenty-seven years of employment at AT&T, he retired from the Bedminister Branch as manager. Most recently, Ken worked as a sexton with the Flemington Baptist Church and part-time with Eckleman Brothers. He was an avid Red Sox and Celtics fan, enjoyed spending time fixing his cars, and he was a friend of Bill W.

In addition to his parents, Ken was predeceased by an infant sister, Karen Marie French.

Ken is survived by his three loving children, Karen Hayes and her husband Michael of Katonah, NY, Tracy French of Bedford, NY, and Michael French of Salt Lake City, UT; his loving significant other, Lynn Patricia Young of Neshanic Station and by his adored grandchildren Ryan and Sarah Hayes.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Saturday, August 18 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Ken's final resting place will be in Thomaston, ME. Memorial contributions may be made in Ken’s memory to the Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center, c/o Hunterdon Medical Center, 2100 Wescott Drive, Flemington, NJ 08822.
