Flemington, NJ- Elizabeth (Harding) Reid, 88, entered into eternal life on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Hunterdon Medical center in Raritan Township. Born in Manhattan, NY, daughter of John and Mary (Sulik) Harding, her family moved to Jersey City in 1940. She relocated in 1967 to Roselle, NJ prior to settling in Flemington in 2006.
Elizabeth retired from Kean University after 25 years of dedicated service as an administrator. She was involved in the Roselle Senior Community Club for many years. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed long walks and trips to Atlantic City. She was a faithful parishioner of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church in Three Bridges.
Besides her parents, Elizabeth was predeceased by her first husband Eric Lamprecht in 1965; her second husband Walter Reid in 2003; sons Phillip, Richard and Robert Lamprecht; and sister Mary Colucci.
Elizabeth is survived by her loving daughter Elizabeth Reid-Almeida and husband Luis of Flemington; son Edward Lamprecht of Virginia; sister Margaret Frisik of Yonkers, NY and Daughter-in-law Deborah Lamprecht. She will be deeply missed by her loving grandchildren; Michael Almeida, Eric Lamprecht, Caitlin Lamprecht, Lauren Lamprecht, Melinda Lamprect and Jessica Tobin
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Friday, January 4, 2013 from 5-8 p.m. and on Saturday, January 5 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:15 a.m.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 5 beginning 10:15 a.m. at Countryside Funeral Home followed by an 11:00 a.m. funeral liturgy at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church in Three Bridges. Elizabeth will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, NJ.
