Frank D. Ricigliano, 79, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 23, 2013. Born in Newark, NJ, son of the late Frank and Jennie (Scoppettuolo) Ricigliano, Frank and his young family resided in Irvington for thirteen years before settling in Whitehouse Station in 1973.

A graduate of West Side High School in Newark, Frank retired after thirty-eight years of employment as assistant postmaster with the United States Postal Service. He was honorably discharged from the United States Army, having faithfully served his country during the Korean War. Frank was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church in Three Bridges. He enjoyed being an avid hunter and outdoorsman, but his favorite time spent was with his family; especially his children and grandchildren.

Besides his parents, Frank was predeceased by twin sons and a brother.

Frank is survived by his devoted wife of fifty-two years, Margaret V. (Bizub) Ricigliano and their four loving children: Frank Jude of Sunnyside, WA; Joy and her husband Oleg Kourilovitch of Frenchtown; Jonna and her partner Sherree Hoskins of Flemington and Robyn of Bethlehem Township, NJ. He also leaves behind his four cherished grandchildren: Ryan, Jordie, Logan and Stirling and dear brother Joseph Ricigliano and his wife Antonia of Edison.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Thursday, February 28 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and on Friday, March 1 from 8:30-9:15 a.m.

Funeral services will begin at the funeral home on Friday, March 1 at 9:15 a.m. followed by a 10:00 a.m. funeral liturgy at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church in Three Bridges. Committal words and interment will follow at St. Magdalen Cemetery in Flemington. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to be made in Frank’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
