Obituary

Whitehouse Station, NJ— Albert T. Blagbrough (aka "Uncle Al"or "Mr. B."), 74, passed away on Friday, October 13, 2023 at Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington, NJ with loving family by his side.  Born in Upper Darby, PA, son of the late William W. and Margaret L. (nee Norman) Blagbrough, he grew up in Clifton Heights, PA prior to living in Franklinville, NJ and settling to Whitehouse Station, NJ in 1983.

Al was a 1967 graduate of Clifton Heights High School.  He had over thirty years of dedicated employment at AT&T in Bedminster, NJ as a district manager,  retiring in 2003.   He then went on to earn an associate's degree in Physics from Raritan Valley Community College in North Branch, NJ so he could substitue teach.   "Mr. B."  was presently working at Hunterdon Central Regional High School (HCRHS) in Flemington as a substitute teacher in both mathematics and science.  In addition, he was a Superfan for various HCRHS athletic teams.  Substiute teaching allowed him to keep his summers open for fishing and camping in Canada, something he enjoyed his entire life.   As a private pilot, Al loved flying on the weekends and taking his family and friends on adventures.

Albert is survived by his beloved wife of fifty-four years, Diane M. (nee Traband) Blagbrough with whom he joined hands in marriage on November 8, 1969; two loving daughters, Jennifer Merrigan of Milford, NJ and Molly and her husband Stephen Blath of Nazareth, PA; three dear siblings, Edie Bjorn, William Blagbrough, and Norman Blagbrough; two cherished grandchildren, Gregory Merrigan and Kayla Merrigan, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
