Raritan Township, NJ – Albert Plickert Bogle, 75, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at Hunterdon Care Center in the Flemington section of Raritan Township. Born in Passaic to his late parents Clarence J. and Elizabeth (Plickert) Bogle, he grew up in Rutherford and settled to Readington Township in 1980.
Albert was honorably discharged from the United States Navy after faithfully serving his country as a Lieutenant during the Korean Conflict. He retired in 1998 from MCI, formerly RCA Global Communications, where he worked as an assistant analyst. Albert coached Readington youth soccer and baseball teams, volunteered at Hunterdon Medical Center and in his spare time assisted at the Hunterdon Christian Church.
Albert is survived by his devoted wife of thirty-five years; Barbara (Hock) Bogle, his loving children; Edward of Readington Township, Martha and husband Robert Degnan of Fanwood and Andrew of Readington Township. He also leaves behind his dear mother-in-law Martha M. Hock of Fanwood.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2007 beginning 10:00am at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 with Pastor Dan Baker from Hunterdon Christian Church officiating. At the family's request, final disposition will be held privately. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the calling hours at the funeral home on Friday, July 20, 2007 from 2-4 & 7-9pm and on Saturday from 9:00am until service time.
