Andrew S. Baber Sr.

Loving Father & Grandfather

Readington Township, NJ – Andrew "Andy" S. Baber, Sr., 74, entered eternal rest on Monday, April 3, 2006 at Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington. Born in Jersey City, NJ to his late parents Andrew and Madeline (Piszel) Baber, he had lived in Delaware Township and Jersey City before settling to the Whitehouse Station section of Readington Township in 1970.

Andy retired in 1997 from the Raritan Valley Country Club located in Bridgewater where he worked as Manager of the club for many years. He then owned and operated Andy's Limousine Service located in Whitehouse Station. Andy was a faithful communicant of St. Magdalen's Roman Catholic Church in Flemington. He loved to drive and travel and enjoyed gardening.

Besides his parents, Andy is predeceased by his cherished wife, Rose "Geri" (Ferrara) Baber who passed away February of 1998, and by his dear brother Jules Baber.

Surviving Andy are his loving and devoted sons; Gregory of Yardley, PA, Andrew Jr. of Flemington, Allen of Waretown, and Kenneth of Whitehouse Station. His seven adored grandchildren will miss him dearly.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 7, 2006 beginning 9:45am at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 followed by a 10:30am funeral liturgy at St. Magdalen's Roman Catholic Church in Flemington. Andy will be laid to rest at St. Magdalen's Cemetery also located in Flemington. Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours at the funeral home on Thursday, April 6, 2006 from 2-4 & 7-9pm and on Friday from 9:15am until service time.
