Holland Township, NJ—Anna (Capparelli) Greco, 91, entered into eternal life on Monday, August 9, 2010 at her home in Holland Township with her loving family by her side. Born in Plainfield, NJ, daughter of the late Joseph and Angelina (Benjievenga) Capparelli, Anna had resided in North Plainfield, NJ for over forty years prior to settling to Milford in 1999.



Anna was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, knitting and crocheting but of the utmost importance to her was caring for and spending time with her family. She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in North Plainfield.



Besides her parents, Anna was predeceased by her beloved husband Lucka John Greco, Sr., who died on May 7, 2009. She was also predeceased by her sister Edith Lantz and her brother Alphonso Capparelli.



Anna leaves behind to cherish her memory: four loving children: daughter, Betty and John Knack of Tennessee, daughter, Arlene and Tony Szumski of Holland Township, son, Lucka John Greco, Jr. and Kathy of Holland Township and daughter, Patti and Allen Bender of North Plainfield. She will be deeply missed by her dear brothers, Armond and Edward Capparelli; eight cherished grandchildren: Lisa, John, Ken, Ryan, Melissa, Amanda, Todd and Kelly; 13 adored great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.



Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Tuesday, August 10th from 1-3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.



Anna's funeral liturgy will be held on Wednesday, August 11th beginning 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 99 Westervelt Avenue, North Plainfield, NJ 07060. Committal words and entombment will follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel.
