Flemington NJ– Annette Brozyna, 93, entered eternal rest on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at home with loving family by her side. Born in Newark, NJ, daughter of the late Antonino and Vincenzina (Vaccaro) Giacona, she was raised in Irvington and settled to Flemington in 1988.
After retiring from Plessey Airborne in 1985, Annette worked for 10 years at Midland Adult Services (part of Midland School) in North Branch. She was a communicant of St. Magdalen de Pazzi Roman Catholic Church in Flemington. Annette was an avid bowler, enjoyed crocheting, loved to watch tennis and football, and spending time with her cherished grandchildren.
Besides her parents, Annette was predeceased by her husband Edward Brozyna in 1990 and two brothers, Joseph and Anthony "Butch".
Annette leaves behind two loving sons, Edward Brozyna of Rehoboth Beach, DE and Ronald Brozyna and his wife Linda of Branchburg and dear sister, Lillian Wester of Bridgewater. She will be deeply missed by four cherished grandchildren, Elizabeth Bischof and her husband Steve, Laura Wright and her husband Richard, Darrick Brozyna and his wife Melinda, and Kevin Brozyna.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Tuesday, August 13 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and on Wednesday, August 14 from 9:30-10:15 a.m.
Funeral services will begin on Wednesday, August 14 at 10:15 a.m. at the funeral home followed by an 11:00 a.m. funeral liturgy at St. Magdalen de Pazzi Roman Catholic Church in Flemington. Committal words and interment will follow at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Flemington. Memorial contributions may be made in Annette's name to the Hunterdon Care Center, 1 Leisure Court, Flemington, NJ 08822.
