Branchburg, NJ- Anthony Tomaro, 74, passed away on March 20, 2020 with loving family by his side. Born in 1945 in Boiano, Italy to the late Carlo and Maria (Venditti) Tomaro, he was a resident of Branchburg for the past 51 years.

Anthony was a self-employed truck driver and owner/operator of his own tractor-trailer from which he retired in 2010.   He then became a school bus driver for the Branchburg Board of Education.  Anthony proudly served our country in the United States Army from 1965 to 1971, from which he was honorably discharged.

Anthony is survived by his devoted children; son Michael and his wife Megan Tomaro, son Anthony Jr. and his wife Christina Tomaro, and Daughter Dawn Barry and her husband Timothy.  He will be deeply missed by his grandchildren; Shannon, Pamela, Autumn, Timmy Jr, Joey, Evan and Zoe; step grandsons Dylan and Julian; brothers Dominic, Vincent, Mike and Jack; sister Rita and his cherished girlfriend Sheila Taylor with whom he lived in Branchburg.

Memorial donations can be made in Anthony's name to the Cancer Research Institute, www.cancerresearch.org. At the family's request, disposition will be private.
