Flemington NJ– Augusto Fernando Diaz (Abuelo, Pa, Viejo), 80, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 watching his futbol at home in Flemington.

Augusto is survived by his devoted wife, Lucia (Raymondi) Diaz; loving children, Fernando Diaz and his wife Suzanne, Patricia Zavis, and Sylvia and her husband Greg Rakauskas; and cherished grandchildren, Cynthia Zavis, Frank Zavis, Marissa, and Sophia.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Friday, June 30 from 8:45 a.m. until 9:45 a.m.

Funeral services will begin at 9:45 a.m. at the funeral home on Friday, June 30 followed by a 10:30 a.m. funeral liturgy at St. Magdalen de Pazzi Roman Catholic Church, 105 Mine St., Flemington, NJ 08822.  At the family's request, the disposition will be private.
