Readington Township, NJ– Barbara J. "Bobbie" (nee Jurick) Goyette, 71, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township, NJ. Born in Elizabeth, NJ, Bobbie is the daughter of the late William G. and Florence May (nee O'Brien) Jurick. She grew up in Clark, NJ, and after marriage she resided in Fanwood, NJ and Moorestown, NJ before settling in Readington Township thirty-eight years ago.
Bobbie graduated from Arthur L. Johnson High School in Clark and continued her education at the All Souls Nursing School in Morristown, NJ where she achieved status as a Registered Nurse. Bobbie retired after many years of dedicated employment with Hunterdon Medical Center as the Employee Health Nurse and Blue Cross Blue Shield in Newark, NJ as a catastrophic case manager. She was a member of the Newcomers and Friends Club of Flemington. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with family especially her grandchildren.
Bobbie is survived by her beloved husband of forty-seven years, John H. "Jack" Goyette with whom she joined hands in marriage on March 27, 1971. She will be deeply missed by her loving sons, John W. "Jack" Goyette of Dover, NJ, Michael D. Goyette of High Bridge, NJ, and Timothy G. Goyette of Readington, NJ; a dear brother, William G. Jurick, Jr and his wife Pamela; a dear sister-in-law, Maryann Goyette; and a dear brother-in-law, George Goyette; two cherished grandchildren, Liam Goyette and Kaylee Newman; and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ, 08887 on Saturday, April 7 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. with a funeral service at 3:00 p.m. with Sister Jeanne Goyette officiating and an additional prayer service at 8:00 p.m. with Chaplain Chris Voorhees officiating. At the family's request, the disposition will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Barbara's name to the Hunterdon Healthcare Foundation, 2100 Wescott Drive, Flemington, NJ 08822.
