Raritan Township, NJ - Barbara "Bobbie" Wolff, 60, passed away on Saturday, July 21, 2007 at Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township after a courageous four year battle with renal cell cancer. Born in Cranford to her mother Bernardine (Town) and her late father William Foppert, she had been a resident of Raritan Township for the past thirty-five years.
Barbara was a graduate of Kean College. She had been a teacher for the past twenty-four years in Piscataway, Delaware Township and most recently in Flemington-Raritan school systems. Barbara's major passion in life was education and teaching others. She was a counselor for fifteen years at Leadership Training Camp with NJASC, was a Board of Education member for six years and volunteered in local community organizations.
Bobbie is survived by her devoted husband Joel Wolff, two beloved sons and daughter-in-law; Douglas Wolff of New York City, Gregory Marc and Jill Beth Wolff of Flemington and by her four loving siblings; Patricia Ustick, William J., David C. Foppert and Deborah Foppert and by twelve nieces and nephews all of whom will miss her dearly.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 25, 2007 beginning 7:30pm with Reverend Marc Hanna officiating at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887. Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 25, 2007 from 4:00pm until the service time.
