Readington Township, NJ – Beverly L. (nee Jones) Hicks, 72, entered into eternal life on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at home with loving family by her side.

Born in Toronto, Ontario Canada, daughter of the late Greig and Marion (nee Cumming) Jones, she married and moved to Branchburg, NJ in 1977 after college and starting employment with AT&T Bell Labs, finally settling in Readington Township in 1993.

Beverly went to school in Toronto, and then received a BS from Virginia Tech and later an MS from Stevens Institute of Technology with degrees in English and Engineering. She worked at AT&T Bell Labs for 10 years and had additional technical writing jobs after that. She met her future husband Tom at Six Mile lake in Ontario, where they continued to vacation for the next 50 years. Bev enjoyed her family, gardening, crafts, and her cats and dogs over the years. She was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2014.

Beverly will be deeply missed and is survived by her loving husband of fifty-two years, Thomas Hicks and three loving children, Eric, Steven, and Kara.
