Valatie, NY – Billye Sue (Trammell) Byrum,  age76, entered eternal life on October 31, 2017, at Barnwell Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Valatie, NY.  Born in Dallas, Texas, daughter of the late Glynn William and Mary Louise (Marshall) Trammell, she resided in Dallas, TX and Sterling, VA until settling to Neshanic Station, NJ in 1979.

Billye Sue was a prolific real estate agent for a variety of real estate firms before retiring from Coldwell Banker Real Estate.  Billye Sue was also active with other various community organizations which included Hunterdon County Drug Awareness Program and the Stanton Holly Trail where she combined her love of home decorating and charity work.  Billye Sue took great joy in creating a joyful and beautiful home environment for the holidays for her family; she loved to decorate; garden and paint.  She was an accomplished seamstress in creating gorgeous embroidery, wedding dresses, children's wear and curtains.

Besides her loving husband, T. Wade Byrum who passed in 2015, Billye was predeceased by her beloved daughter, Cassandra Sweer in 2012, and her brother Robert Marshall Trammell.

Billye Sue is survived by three loving children, Debbye Sue Byrum, Kimberley K.Byrum, and Janye Michelle Byrum.  She will be deeply missed by seven cherished grandchildren, Matthew Wade Byrum, Brittani Byrum, Sean Byrum Leo, Joseph Biagini, Ashley Sweer, Thomas Biagini, and Kevin Sweer; and great grandchild, Victor Wade Cruz.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Monday, November 13th from 3-7 p.m.  At 4:00 p.m. a Celebration of Life funeral service will take place with family and friends officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Billye Sue Byrum's  name to the Alzheimer's Foundation-America, 322 8th Avenue, #700, New York, NY 10001
