Brian S. Sauers' Obituary
Hillsborough, NJ-Brian S. Sauers, 56, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at his residence. Born in Somerville, NJ, son of the late Marvin and Rosemarie (nee Spina) Sauers, he was raised in Hillsborough.
Brian was a graduate of Hillsborough High School where he played football. He was presently working for Stilo Paving and Excavating, as a heavy equipment operator. Brian lived for his daughter, Julia, whom he loved more than anything. He referred to her as his "little bird". He loved to build sets for Julia's theatre group at Hillsborough High School. Brian enjoyed many things in life including sports, music and playing the guitar, painting, gardening, building things, and playing poker with his friends. He was a perpetual student of history with an unquenchable thirst for knowledge. Brian had a passion for trading on the stock market, but not more than spending time with his family.
Brian is survived by the love of his life, wife Rosa (nee Velez) Sauers; cherished daughter, Julia H. Sauers; sister, Jacqueline Mathewson and her husband Dale; and many dear nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by his dogs, Precious and Bobo.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
