Union Township, NJ – Brian Patrick Walsh, 49, loving husband of Kathy and proud and devoted father of Dan, Tara and Jack, died at home on March 19, 2007 after a brave battle with cancer.
Funeral services will take place on Friday, March 23, 2007 beginning 10:00am at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 followed by an 11:00am funeral liturgy at Immaculate Conception Church of Clinton, 316 Old Allerton Road, Annandale, NJ 08801. Brian will be laid to rest in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Clinton. Relatives and friends may attend calling hours at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 21, 2007 from 7-9pm, or Thursday, March 22, 2007 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm, and on Friday from 9:15am until service time.
Born in New York, to his late parents, Martin and Joan Walsh, Brian settled in Union Township in 1987. He was a graduate of the United States Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, New York and received a Masters Degree from NYU. He was formerly President of BOC Gases for North America and Canada. The family is parishioners at Saint Catherine of Siena Church in Pittstown. Brian was a member of Stanton Ridge Golf and Country Club.
In addition to his devoted wife of 22 years, Kathy and three loving children, Brian is survived by sisters Sharon, Sheila and Maureen, brothers Kevin, Terry and Tom, and his loving in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Donations may be made in Brian's memory to Hunterdon Hospice or Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center, both located at 2100 Wescott Drive, Flemington, NJ 08822.
