Flemington, NJ – Carol Y. (nėe Gammans) Young, 81, entered into eternal life on Thursday, November 3, 2022, at Bridgeway Care and Rehabilitation Center in Hillsborough, NJ, with loving family by her side. Born and raised in San Antonio, TX, daughter of the late Robert and Velma (née Bevers) Gammans, Carol had resided in several different cities throughout the United States.

Carol was a graduate of South San Antonio High School, Class of 1959.  As a homemaker, Carol took great pride in raising her family and was an accomplished seamstress. She was passionate about golf and spent a lot of time on the courses at PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, FL where she resided for many years with her husband Bill.  Carol was also fond of fishing and taught all her grandchildren to fish when they visited her and Bill in Florida.

Besides her parents, Carol was predeceased by two brothers, Edwin and Rodney Gammans.

Carol is survived by her devoted husband of 63 years, William N. Young, with whom she joined hands in marriage on March 18, 1959; loving daughters and sons-in-law, Cynthia and John Tintorri of Nazareth, PA, and Sharon and Rick England of Flemington , NJ . She will be deeply missed by her dear brother, Bill (Mary) Gammans; cherished grandchildren, Kate Tintorri and her partner , Steve DeRoxtra ; Evan and Joslyn Tintorri ; Rachel and Brandon Pernini ; and Brian England; adored great-grandchildren, Kellen, Owen, Alaina, Joseph, and Luciana; and one additional great-grandchild on the way .
