Obituary

Flemington, NJ- Carolyn Denise Weidlich, 47, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at home with loving family by her side. Born in Somerville, NJ, daughter of the late William and Sophie (nee Sidor) Weidlich, Carolyn grew up in Hillsborough, NJ and settled in Flemington as an adult.

Carolyn was a graduate of Hillsborough High School with the Class of 1994. She then went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology, with a minor in Women's Studies from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. Carolyn had over 25 years of dedicated employment with Affiliates OB/GYN in Flemington as a receptionist. She enjoyed spending time with her family, both immediate and extended, and friends to share experiences and advice. She was fascinated by people and was a sponge for any environment she was in. She enjoyed her martinis dry, with gin, up, and extra olives. She had a wonderful sense of humor, often "saucy", which kept everyone who knew her smiling. She loved to travel, with particular fondness for relaxing seaside, along the Atlantic.

Besides her parents, Carolyn was predeceased by her uncle, Ken Weidlich.

Carolyn will be deeply missed by all who knew her, especially her beloved and devoted husband of 23 years, Robert A. Pastor; two loving daughters, Sophie Pastor of Boston, MA and Christina Pastor of Burlington, VT; her dear brother, Keith Weidlich; and cherished nephew, Nathan Weidlich; and cherished niece, Erin Weidlich.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing on Tuesday, March 12, from 4-7 p.m. with the funeral service at 6:00 p.m. officiated by family and friends at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887.
