Clinton Township, NJ—Charles "Charlie" J. Oliveira, 69, entered into eternal life on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township. Born in Newark, NJ, son of the late Carlos A. and Amelia (Bernardo) Oliveira, he had resided in Parsippany prior to settling to Clinton Township in 1998.

Charlie enjoyed golfing and was a true fan of the NY Yankees and NY/NJ Giants. He attended services at St. James Church in Newark, St. Christopher Church in Parsippany, and Immaculate Conception Church in Annandale. Charlie worked for many years as a Senior Purchasing Agent for the BASF, Foster Wheeler and American Cyanamid Companies.

Charlie is survived by his beloved wife of forty-eight years, Jeanette (Grocki) Oliveira; loving sons and daughters-in-law, Kevin Oliveira and Hey-Jin Kong, M.D. and Brian Oliveira and Amie Haas of San Carlos, CA; dear brother, Michael Oliveira; four cherished grandchildren, Christopher Oliveira, Katherine Oliveira, Casey Oliveira, and Devyn Oliveira; adored nieces, Michelle Oliveira and Christina Oliveira; and dear mother-in-law, Helen J. Grocki.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Tuesday, March 26 from 4-8 p.m. and Wednesday, March 27 from 8:30-9 a.m.

Funeral services will begin on Wednesday, March 27 at 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a 10:00 a.m. funeral liturgy at Immaculate Conception Church in Annandale. The disposition will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Charlie's name to the Carol G. Simon Cancer Center, 100 Madison Avenue, Morristown, NJ 07962; Carol G.
