Whitehouse Station, NJ- Charles Francis "Chuck" Oraschin, Sr., 69, entered into eternal life on Friday, December 6, 2019 at home with loving family by his side. Born in Somerville, NJ, son of the late Charles Matthew and Jennie (nee Otto) Oraschin, he grew up in Bridgewater, NJ before his marriage in 1975 and then moved to Whitehouse Station in 1982.

Charles was a graduate of Bridgewater Raritan West High School in Bridgewater. He attended classes at the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark, NJ and earned an associate's degree from Mercer County Community College in West Windsor, NJ. He faithfully served his country with the United States Marine Corps from January 1972 until January 1974 attaining the rank of lance corporal. At the young age of twelve years old, Chuck began working for his father's family business, O & S Landscaping of Bridgewater, as a landscaper. In 2012 he retired. Time spent with family and friends was a favorite pastime of Chuck's, especially with his grandchildren.

Charles is survived by his loving wife of forty-four years, Pamela L. (nee Witkowski) Oraschin; loving son, Charles F. Oraschin, Jr. and his wife Kristen of Hampton, NJ; dear brother, Ronald Oraschin; dear sister, Sandra McCann; and three cherished grandchildren, Matthew Oraschin, Kyle Oraschin and Luke Oraschin.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Monday, December 9 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and on Tuesday, December 10 from 8-8:45 a.m.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 10 beginning 8:45 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a 9:30 a.m. funeral liturgy at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church in Three Bridges. Military honors and disposition will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 12 at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ.
