Whitehouse Station, NJ- Charles H. Wilson, Jr., 69, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at his home in Whitehouse Station. Born in Elizabeth, NJ, son of the late Charles H. and Wanda (Winland) Wilson, he lived in Roselle, Roselle Park, Iselin and Edison prior to settling in Whitehouse Station in 1993.
Charles retired from PSE&G in Somerset after over forty-five years of dedicated employment as a senior clerk. He had been a follower of the Christian faith.
Charles leaves behind his beloved wife Maureen (Cuffe) Wilson, with whom he joined hands in marriage in 1976. He will be deeply missed by four cherished children, daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Keith Matthews, daughter, Megan Wilson, daughter, Theresa Wilson and son, Charles H. Wilson III; two dear sisters, Linda and her husband William Smith and Gale Schoenemann; three adored grandchildren, Alyssa, Jayden and Vivien and many nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Sunday, September 18 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.
At the family's request, the disposition will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Charles' memory to the American Cancer Society, 7 Ridgedale Avenue, Suite 103, Cedar Knolls, NJ 07927.
