Obituary

Hillsborough, NJ- Christa Charlotte (nee Barron) Coppola, 93, entered into eternal life on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at Independence Manor Hunterdon in Flemington, NJ. Born in Bronx, NY and raised in Ridgewood, Queens, NY, daughter of the late Nelson and Charlotte (nee Mauesberger) Barron, she resided in Middle Village, Queens, NY before settling in Hillsborough in 2020.

She was a faithful parishioner and very active with the Emmaus Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ridgewood, and was also a member of their Mary Martha Guild. Christa enjoyed golf, both playing and watching; she was a wonderful home marker, great baker, and in her younger years a commercial artist. Some of her art was published in different newspapers. Whether it was summertime or winter, she loved eating ice cream.

Beside her parents, Christa was predeceased by her beloved husband, Michael William Coppola on November 20, 2017 and whom she shared 64 years of marriage.

Christa is survived and will be deeply missed by her loving children, Susan and her spouse, Sebastiano Tenebruso and Michael Coppola and his partner Josephine Donaldson; three cherished grandchildren, Alfonso Tenebruso, Antonio Tenebruso, and Nicolas Coppola; and six adored great grand grandchildren, Sebastiano, Whalen, Lucy, Jack Luigi, Nathan, and Oscar Bruno.
