Pittstown, NJ- Christopher Allan Baranik, 46, entered into eternal life on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at home. Born in Paterson, son of Jordan A. and Sharon (Brophy) Baranik, he grew up in West Milford and resided in Flemington before moving to Pittstown ten years ago.
Christopher was a graduate of Rutgers University. Christopher had been employed as a financial officer at Biacore in Bridgewater and he had also worked at the Newsroom Restaurant in Somerville. He was known to be a wine aficionado.
Christopher was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, William and Gertrude Brophy and paternal grandparents, Alexander and Mary Baranik.
Christopher leaves behind to cherish his memory, his beloved companion, Carole R. Shepherd with whom he resided; dear siblings, Theresa Pisauro and husband Michael of Pennington, Kathy Baranik of Bear DE, Colleen Andreniuk and husband Ted of West Milford, Maureen Rivers and husband Bill of Sagamore Hills, OH, and Sean Baranik and wife Amy of Wilmington, DE. He will be deeply missed by his devoted extended family, Cathy Ogg of Centennial, CO, Cindy and Greg Wilk of Palm Coast, FL, Craig and Carol Shepherd of Stockton and by many cherished nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Thursday, September 12 from 4-7 p.m.
