Bridgewater, NJ --- Clarence Gilbert, 81, entered into eternal life on Monday, April 6, 2020 at Green Knoll Care and Rehabilitation Center, Bridgewater. Clarence was born in Culthbert, Georgia, son of the late John and Sally B. (nee Young) Gilbert.

Clarence enjoyed drawing and was a good artist, he also enjoyed time spent on the green as he was an avid golfer.  He worked as a material handler with Warner Lambert (Davis Plant) in New Jersey until his retirement.  Clarence was the owner along with his three brothers, Tony, Clarence and Bill of a cleaning business, TCB,  in Morristown, NJ.

Clarence was predeceased by his beloved daughter, Suzanne Michelle Gilbert.

Clarence is survived by his loving children; son, Derrick P. Gilbert of Bradenton, FL, and daughter Ann-Marie ( Princess )Thompson of Haymarket, VA.

Private arrangements have been entrusted to Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Rt. 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887.

It is with heartfelt sympathy that we express our deepest condolences on the loss of a dear man, father and friend, Mr.Clarence Gilbert.

In times of loss, one may find themselves overwhelmed with sorrow and grief. Yet, you must trust that the Almighty God is present to sustain and comfort you. "F ear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand," Isaiah 41:10.
