Ringoes, NJ– Clement "Clem" Anthony Battoni, Jr., 71, passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2017, at Good Shepherd Specialty Hospital, Bethlehem, PA. Born in Plainfield, NJ, son of late Florence (Mastrianni) and Clement A. Battoni, Sr., he resided in Ringoes for nearly forty years.
Clem began as an electrician and retired in 2008 as Vice President of Marketing for Forest Electric Corporation. He was an avid hunter, often traveling West to hunt deer and rabbit. He loved to chop wood, anything outside Clem was up for it! Clem was very much involved with his children's sporting events; he coached his daughter's girls softball team and son's Pop Warner football team. He was well known as the 'voice' during the Hunterdon Central football games. Family and friends will deeply miss his funny jokes and stories. Clem adored his five grandchildren and attended their sports events every chance he got.
Clem leaves behind his beloved and devoted wife, Ursula (Weiss) Battoni; his loving children, son Matthew and Courtney Battoni and daughter Danielle and JR Rynearson; three brothers, Ronnie, Anthony and Neil Battoni. He will be deeply missed by his five adored grandchildren, Lilly, Jack, James Rynearson, Mia and Rooney Battoni. He leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Friday, August 25 from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m.
Funeral services will begin on Friday, August 25 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a 12:00 p.m. memorial liturgy at Our Lady of Victories Roman Catholic Church, 1005 Route 519, Baptistown, NJ 08803 with Father Krysztof Kaczynski officiating. Disposition will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Clem's memory may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, 383 Main Avenue, 5 th Floor, Norwalk, CT 06851.
