Raritan, NJ- Cynthia Ann (Scopetto) Hayduk, 54, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at her home in Raritan with her loving and supportive family by her side. Born in Jersey City, daughter of Genevieve (Marino) Scopetto and the late William Joseph Scopetto, she was a resident of Bayville, NJ before settling to Raritan in 1996.
Cynthia was a graduate of Hunterdon Central High School Class of 1974 and had been a dedicated administrative assistant at Somerset-Union Soil Conservation in Bridgewater, for many years. She took a very active role with the Somerset County 4-H programs and Fair. Cynthia was an artistic person who enjoyed interior design as well as landscaping. Her true passion was taking care of her kids. She loved to shop online and had very devoted friends right up until the day of her death.
Besides her loving mother Genevieve Scopetto of Whitehouse Station, Cynthia leaves behind her cherished daughters and son: Jessica Hayduk of Bethlehem, PA, Lisa Hayduk and Joseph Hayduk, both of Raritan; dear brothers William C. and Jeffrey M. Scopetto and her adored canine friends Crystal, Lily and Bruiser.
Relatives and friends are invited to join with Cynthia's family for a memorial service and visitation at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Thursday, February 3 from 6-8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made in Cynthia's memory to: The Steeplechase Cancer Center, 30 Rehill Avenue, Somerville, NJ 08876.
