Whitehouse Station, NJ –Daniel V. Cortese, 51, entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 9, 2009 at his residence. Born in Newark, he had resided in Old Bridge before settling to Whitehouse Station twenty-five years ago.

Daniel was self-employed and president of Interactive Communications, a medical consulting firm, located in Raritan Township.

He was predeceased by his dear mother Josephine (Caruso) Cortese in 1976.

Daniel leaves behind his beloved father and stepmother: Vincent F. and Carol Cortese of Old Bridge; his dear companion, Phyllis Castells ; his loving sister JoAnn Strokis of Ft. Mill, South Carolina; two cherished aunts; Geri Cortese and Connie Szefczek both of Branchburg; and an admired uncle, Mario Cortese of North Caldwell. He will be deeply missed by his adored niece, two nephews and cousins.



Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2009 at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at the funeral home from 2-4pm and 7-9pm with the funeral service to be held at 7:30pm during the visitation hours. At the family's request disposition will be private.
