Daniel “Dan” Loria, beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2026, surrounded by his family. He was the caring husband of Rosemarie (née Bastone) Loria for just shy of 60 wonderful years.

Born and raised in the Bronx, New York, son of the late Anthony and Mildred (née Luster) Loria, he met Rosemarie on Castle Hill Avenue and they married five years later. In 1970, Dan and Rosemarie moved to Long Island, where they built a home and raised their family. After 45 years in Ronkonkoma, they relocated 10 years ago to Flemington, New Jersey.

Dan honorably served his country with the United States Army. He worked for the New York City Fire Department, as a fire fighter. Dan enjoyed playing poker, watching horse racing, and spending quality time with his family. Dan was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church.

In addition to his parents, Dan was predeceased by his beloved wife, Rosemarie; sister, Anna Desiderio (Salvatore), and brothers, Arthur Loria and Louis Loria.

Dan is survived by his loving daughter and son, Danielle (John Murdock) and Keith Loria (Patricia). He was the proud grandfather of Jordan, Katherine "Kati", Thomas, Cassidy, Robert, and Joseph. He also leaves behind his dear brothers, Ralph Loria (Maria), Anthony Loria (Marianne), and Joseph Loria; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial mass will be scheduled in the near future and are under the direction of Countryside Funeral Home, 724 US-202, PO Box 431, Three Bridges, NJ 08887. Dan is buried beside his wife at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown, PA.
