Obituary

Neshanic Station, NJ– After a courageous battle with multiple myeloma, David "Dave" A. Hudak, Sr., 82, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at home with his loving family by his side. Born in Dallas, PA, son of the late Anthony "Anton" and Mary (Lopuchovsky) Hudak, he settled in Neshanic Station 55 years ago.

Dave was a 1955 graduate from Dallas High School. He honorably served his country with the United States Army from 1960 to 1966. After 41 years of dedication, he retired from Egan Machinery in Somerville, NJ as an electrical supervisor. He was a faithful parishioner and a member of the Men's Club at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church in Three Bridges, NJ. Dave was a life member and a former chief of the Neshanic Volunteer Fire Company. He had the gift of understanding how everything worked and as such, he could fix anything. However, nothing was more important to him than his family; he especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Aside from his parents, Dave was predeceased by nine siblings; Steven, Josephine, Anna, Marie, Joseph, Anthony, Victoria, Isabella, and John.

Dave is survived by his devoted wife of 58 years, Nancy (Casterline) Hudak. He will be deeply missed by his four loving children, Deborah Hudak of Neshanic Station, Deanna and her husband Dominic Tumas of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, David A. Hudak, Jr. and his wife Linda of Hillsborough, NJ, and Denise and her husband Jeffrey Allshouse of Lambertville, NJ; six cherished grandchildren, Samantha and her husband Bryan Williamson, Jennifer Tumas, David A. Hudak III, Alexa Hudak, Courtney Hudak, and Kyle Hudak; an adored great granddaughter, Amelia Williamson; dear siblings, Alfred Hudak and Rose Salansky, and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church, 105 Summer Road, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Saturday, September 7th from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. with a funeral mass beginning at 11:00 a.m. The burial will be private at a later date.
