David William Kreutzer's Obituary

Readington, NJ—David William Kreutzer, 57, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Morristown Medical Center. Born in Summit, NJ, son of Walburga Kreutzer and the late Rudolph Kreutzer, he spent the earlier years of his life in Florham Park, NJ before settling in Readington Township thirty-two years ago.

Besides his wonderful mother, David is survived by his loving and devoted wife of thirty-two years, Susan Kreutzer; his three loving daughters, Dana, Sarah, and Julie; four amazing siblings, Donald Kreutzer, Darleen Wizorek and her husband Michael, Pamela Meling and her husband Bob, and Carol Ackerman and her husband Steven; a dear brother-in-law, Mark Garcia and his wife Joan; his cherished in-laws, Manny and Betty Lou Garcia; and many adored nieces and nephews, Erin (and Frank), Jessica, Emily (and John), Daniel (and Steph), Erika (and Henry), Mosie (and Eric), Amanda, Lexie (and Nolan), Connor, Samantha, Rebecca, Andie, Tori, Rudy, Charlotte, Grayson, Annabelle, John, Reese, and Paige.

For the last eighteen years, David was employed at Custom Molders Group of Branchburg, NJ as the Engineering Manager. David was a parishioner at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church in Three Bridges, NJ. Amongst many hobbies and interests, boating, camping, biking, and music were some of his favorites. He was a big fan of the New York Yankees and Giants, Notre Dame, and an even bigger fan of his girls at their volleyball games. Some of his most treasured memories were spent boating up in Lake George, NY and at the Jersey Shore. He was the life of every party and often known as Dave the Rave. David was an incredible handy man and no task was too big for him to accomplish. His late father, also known as Opa, was his hero. Spending time with his family and friends stood above everything else, and he was especially proud of his three daughters. David lived every day to the fullest and is the truest example of what everyone should aspire to be in this life.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Tuesday, February 18 from 4-8 p.m. and on Wednesday, February 19 from 10:00-10:15 a.m.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 19 beginning with prayers at the funeral home at 10:15 a.m., followed by the procession to the 11:00 a.m. funeral liturgy at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church in Three Bridges with Fr. Thomas J. Serafin, KCHS officiating.
