Obituary

Flemington, NJ –Deborah Louise Varriale, 57, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, NJ.  Born in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of Richard J. and Lisa D (nee Werner) Trovato, she was raised in Sea Gate, NY, and then resided in Baldwin, NY, and Berkeley Heights, NJ before settling to Flemington over twenty-five years ago.

Deb was a graduated of Baldwin High School in Baldwin, NY with the Class of 1983.  She furthered her studies at Ashworth College earning a degree in landscape design.  Deb worked for Prudential in Newark, NJ, as a senior technology consultant for twenty-five years before retiring.  After retirement, Deb became an assistant store manager with Lowes in Flemington.  She was a communicant of St. Magdalen de Pazzi Roman Catholic Church in Flemington.  In her spare time, Deb enjoyed tending to her garden and cooking.  Her greatest passion was caring for the family farm.  She especially loved tending to the chickens, peacocks, and koi.

Deb was predeceased by her step-father, Salvatore Trovato.

Besides her caring parents, Deb is survived by her beloved husband, James D. Stone; two loving children, Jourdan Stone-Mulroy and her husband, Matthew Mulroy of Cranford, NJ, and Mackenizie Stone of Charleston, SC; four dear siblings, Richard Varriale, Christopher Varriale, Sean Varriale, and Luanne Trovato; and her cherished nephews, Marco Varriale, Paolo Varriale, and Dominic Varriale.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Thursday, August 3, from 4-8 p.m. with a prayer service officiated by Fr.
