Obituary

Hillsborough, NJ- Domenica "Millie" (Esposito) DeMasi, 89, entered into eternal life Thursday, August 8, 2013 at Foothill Acres Nursing Home in Hillsborough. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of the late Joseph and Victoria (Basile) Esposito, she resided in the Valley Stream section of Long Island, NY for three years before settling to Hillsborough in 1957.

Millie was a homemaker whose life revolved around her family. She was a devout parishioner of Mary, Mother of God Roman Catholic Church in Hillsborough having been active over the years with the Rosary and Altar Society. She belonged to the Hillsborough Senior Citizens Group A, was a Hillsborough Senior Citizen Rockette and a member of VFW Post #2290 Ladies Auxiliary in Manville.

Besides her parents, Millie was predeceased by her beloved husband of sixty-nine years Vincent J. DeMasi, Sr. who died on August 22, 2012 and her dear siblings, Frank Esposito and Augie Esposito.

Millie leaves behind to cherish her memory, three loving children, son Vincent J. DeMasi, Jr. and wife Patricia of Hillsborough, daughter Brenda Wasilius and husband Richard of Branchburg and daughter Sandra Maltese and husband Philip of New Hope, PA; five dear siblings, Louis Esposito, John Esposito, Mary Wise, Michael Esposito, and Joseph Esposito. She will be deeply missed by ten adored grandchildren, eight precious great grandchildren and by many cherished nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Sunday, August 11 from 1-4 p.m. and on Monday, August 12 from 9:00 a.m. until the 9:30 a.m. funeral service.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 12 beginning 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a 10:30 a.m. funeral liturgy at Mary, Mother of God Roman Catholic Church in Hillsborough. Committal words and entombment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery in Bridgewater.
