Raritan Township, NJ – Edith C. (Strawbridge) Kliesch, 87, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, November 25, 2006 at Hunterdon Care Center in Raritan Township. Born in Hartford City, IN, she had lived in Punta Gorda, FL for 18 years and Hillsborough for 13 years before moving to Raritan Township 8 years ago.

Edith spent her time as a homemaker caring for her loving family.


Besides her parents, Edith is predeceased by her devoted husband Louis Kliesch in 1983 and by her dear daughter Clair Freuler who passed away February 16, 2004.

Edith leaves behind her loving children; Barbara Engesser of Belle Mead, Diane and husband Thomas Lusk of Middlebury Center, PA and Mary Lou and husband John Gunther of Hillsborough. She also leaves behind her dear son-in-law Richard Freuler of Branchburg and step-son Donald and wife Eleanor Kliesch of Westfield. She will be sadly missed by her 13 adored grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and her great-great-grandson.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Tuesday, November 28, 2006 from 12:00pm until the 2:00pm religious service reflecting on Edith's life.
