Clinton, NJ- Eileen (Sullivan) Meurer, 44, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 23, 2007 at Morristown Memorial Hospital in Morristown, NJ. Born in Staten Island, NY she remained a resident of Staten Island until 1997 at which time she settled in Clinton, NJ.

One of Eileen's most memorable pastimes was spending time at the beach with family and friends. She also enjoyed playing tennis. Eileen was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church of Clinton in Clinton, NJ.


Surviving is her beloved husband with whom she joined hands in marriage in 1985 Richard F. Meurer of Clinton, NJ, her three cherished daughters Taylor, Lauren, and Maggie Meurer all residing at home, her dear parents Richard and Susan (O'Boyle) Sullivan of Staten Island, NY, her loving siblings, brother Richard Sullivan, Jr. of Clinton, NJ, three sisters and brothers-in-law Susan & Jonathan Dahl of Saudi Arabia, Kathleen & David Richard of Katy, TX, and Maureen & Neil Sullivan of Staten Island, NY each of whom will miss her dearly.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2007 beginning 9:00am at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, New Jersey 08887 followed by a 10:00am funeral liturgy at Immaculate Conception Church of Clinton, 316 Old Allerton Road, Clinton, NJ. Eileen will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery in Clinton. Relatives and friends may attend calling hours on Thursday, January 25, 2007 from 7-9pm, on Friday, January 26, 2007 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm, and on Saturday from 8:30am until service time.
