Edison, NJ – Eleanor Joan (nee Pardun) Politz, 82, entered into eternal life on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital-Somerset in Somerville, NJ. Born in New Brunswick, NJ, daughter of the late Everett and Eleanor Lena (nee Kapler) Pardun, she was a lifelong resident of Edison.
Eleanor took great pride in caring for her family as a homemaker. In her younger years she enjoyed Crabbing, Flounder fishing, arts and crafts, shopping, and bird watching. Spending quality time with family and friends, especially her grandsons, was a favorite pastime.
Besides her parents, Eleanor was predeceased by her beloved husband, Anthony Politz in June 2002.
Eleanor is survived by her loving son, Anthony J. Politz and his wife Rose of Neshanic Station; dear sister, Elaine Dietze; and two cherished grandchildren, Anthony J. Politz, Jr. and Edward William Politz.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Thursday, December 23 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 23 followed by committal words and interment at Elmwood Cemetery in North Brunswick, NJ.
