Endicott, NY- Elizabeth S. (Southworth) Marsh, 85, entered into eternal life on Sunday, April 27, 2008 at the Ideal Nursing Center in Endicott, NY. Born in Englewood, NJ to her late parents Augustus R. and Florence Ann (Lyman) Southworth, she had resided in North Plainfield and Flemington before settling in Endicott, NY seventeen years ago.


Elizabeth had been employed as a secretary with Borough Corporation in Warren for many years. While residing in North Plainfield, she was a member of Wilson Memorial Church in Watchung.

Besides her parents, Elizabeth was also predeceased by her beloved husband Arthur H. Marsh, Sr. who died in 1966.

Surviving are her loving children, son Arthur H. Marsh, Jr. of Raritan Township, two daughters Susan Smith of Whitehouse Station and Cynthia Knight of Endicott, NY; two dear brothers Robert Southworth of New Milford, CT and Walter G. Southworth of South Bury, CT. She will be deeply missed by her five cherished grandchildren.


Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 today, Thursday, May 1, 2008 from 12pm – 2pm and 7-9pm. During the afternoon visitation there will be a service of reflection on Elizabeth's life beginning at 1:30pm. At the family's request disposition will be private.
