Obituary

Raritan Township, NJ- Ermina "Mia" M. (Tagliaferro) Celluzzi, 83, entered eternal life on Friday, January 9, 2015 at home with loving family by her side. Born in Plainfield, NJ, daughter of the late Antonio and Annunziata (Delmanico) Tagliaferro, she resided in Hillsborough for over thirty-five years before settling to Raritan Township in 1997.

Mia was a graduate of Plainfield High School, Class of 1950. She worked as a meat packer with A&P in Hillsborough for over twenty-five years. She had been a parishioner of Mary, Mother of God Roman Catholic Church in Hillsborough and more recently would attend masses at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church in Three Bridges, NJ. Throughout her life, Mia's primary passion was her family and she spent her free-time with them. Whether it was attending dance recitals for her granddaughters, relaxing at the beach with her children, or shopping with her sisters, Mia was a consistent and caring presence at all family gatherings.

Besides her parents, Mia was predeceased by her beloved husband, with whom she shared twenty years of marriage, Alexander M. Celluzzi on November 29, 1973; and a brother, Andrew Tagliaferro.

Mia is survived by her loving children and their spouses, Alex Celluzzi and Rosanna of Moorestown, NJ and Barbara and James Galaini of Flemington, NJ. She will be deeply missed by three dear sisters and a brother, Phyllis Tagliaferro of Middlesex, NJ, Rae Tagliaferro of Middlesex, Jean Pagano of Toms River, NJ and Vincent Tagliaferro of Middlesex; two cherished granddaughters, Alexis Galaini and Alexandra Celluzzi; and by many adored nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Monday, January 12 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and on Tuesday, January 13 from 8:30-9:15 a.m.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 13 beginning 9:15 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a 10:00 a.m. funeral liturgy at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church in Three Bridges. Disposition will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough. Memorial contribution may be made in Mia's name to the Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center, 2100 Wescott Drive, Flemington, NJ 08822.
