Jersey City, NJ-Frances Mancuso, 102, died peacefully on May 11, 2020 at Hunterdon Medical Center, Flemington, NJ, after a battle with COVID-19.  She was predeceased by her parents, James and Anna Sanfilippo, her brothers, Charles and James and her sister, Mary.

Frances was born in Jersey City where she grew up and helped her mom and dad in their Jersey City neighborhood grocery store.  She graduated from Dickinson High School and completed her education at Berkeley Secretarial College.

In 1943 Frances married Stephen Mancuso.

Frances was a devoted mother of four, who loved caring for her children, son, Joseph (deceased) and her three daughters, Frances, Anna Marie and Beverly. Frances' life in later years was enriched by her loving and compassionate caregiver, Toni who she affectionately called, "Toni Baloney."

Frances was known as a fabulous cook.  She elevated the meaning of homemaker to a whole new level.  Often friends or family would drop by (coincidentally at mealtimes) gathering around the kitchen table where there was always lots of love, laughter, music and great food!    She was affectionately known as Mama Mancuso by many.

Beside her children, Frances is survived by her grandchildren Christopher, Stephen, Ashley, Chelsea, Rachel, Ricky and Justin and her great grandchildren, Alexandra, Ariana, John, Angela and Emma whom she adored.
