Beloved Father & Grandfather
Northampton, PA – Francis A. "Frank" Jordan, 83, entered into eternal rest on Monday, August 22, 2005 at his residence with his loving family by his side. Born in Newark, NJ to his late parents John & Anne (Kane Conklin) Jordan, he spent most of his life in Newark before moving to Belvedere and Washington and finally settling in Northampton 2 years ago.
Frank faithfully served his country in the United States Navy 7th Seabee Battalion during WWII. Frank retired from Ward Baking Co. (Tip Top) located in East Orange where he worked as a Baker and Warren Hospital where he worked as a Security Officer. He was a member of the American legion in White Township and a former member of the V.F.W Hennessey Post 712 in Newark.
Frank is predeceased by his beloved wife Mary (Cudyk) Jordan who entered eternal rest on April 25, 1980.
He is survived by his loving and devoted children, daughters Anne Grosso of Flemington, NJ and Eileen Berkowitz of Las Vegas, NV and son Francis Jordan of Madison, NJ and by his dear three grand-daughters, Linda Erfle, Suzanne & Carrie Grosso and three great-grandchildren Hannah, Matthew & Christopher Erfle.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2005 beginning 9:15am at the Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 followed by a 10:00am funeral liturgy at St. Magdalen's Church in Flemington. Frank will be laid to rest in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Washington, NJ. Relatives and friends may attend calling hours at the funeral home on Friday, August 26, 2005 from 2-4 & 7-9pm and on Saturday from 8:45am until service time.
