Three Bridges, NJ – Frank A. Catanzareti, 94, entered into eternal life on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at his home with loving family by his side.  He was born and raised in High Bridge, NJ, son of the late Frank and Rose (nee Cucurullo) Catanzareti. He later resided in Lambertville, NJ and Neshanic Station, NJ before settling to Three Bridges.

Frank faithfully served his country with the United States Army during World War II.  He began his working career with Union Carbide in Bound Brook, NJ as a stationary engineer and then moved on to the same position at Exxon in Clinton, NJ.  Working three jobs at one time to help support and raise his family of sixteen children showed some of his dedication to hard work.  Following his retirement, Frank devoted his life to his faith and family.  He was a faithful parishioner at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church in Three Bridges, NJ.  He was deeply devoted to our Blessed Mother leading the rosary prayers after every daily mass.  He served as an altar server for daily mass and funerals for Fr. Thomas J. Serafin and for many visiting priests. He was also a member of the following ministries over the years, Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion and Lazarus Ministry.  When not busy in a ministry, Frank could be found fixing almost anything that appeared in need of a touchup in and around the church. His devotion to the church and Our Lord Jesus Christ was never-ending.  Family was also of upmost importance to Frank.  He loved spending time with his family and the many holiday gatherings and an annual family picnic that brought together over 100 immediate family members.

Besides his parents, Frank was predeceased by his beloved wife, Ann Catanzareti; daughter, Ann Kelly and son, Barry Catanzareti; four sisters, Elizabeth Rizzo, Mary Dabkowski, Francis Smith, and Jennie Prakopcyk.

Frank is survived by fourteen loving children, Linda and her husband Rusty Williams of Ringoes, NJ, Frank Catanzareti  and his wife Val of Jackson, NJ, Patti and her husband Jack Finn of Pipersville, PA, Diana and her husband John Rogers of Washington, NJ, Michael Catanzareti and his wife Michele of Perkasie, PA, Joseph Catanzareti and his wife Susie of Iowa, Bernie Catanzareti and his wife Kim of Easton, PA, Mark Catanzareti of Three Bridges, Mary and her husband Mark D'Avella of Glen Gardner, NJ, Theresa and her husband Frank Volz of Branchburg, NJ, Carol and her husband Alan Kyle of Missouri, Joan Howell of South Carolina, David Catanzareti of Flemington, and Nancy and her husband Tom Tross of Flemington.  He will be missed dearly by his thirty-three cherished grandchildren and twenty-seven adored great-grandchildren, and a precious great-great granddaughter.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Tuesday, June 28 from 6-9 p.m.  The funeral mass will be at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church, 105 Summer Road, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Wednesday, June 29 at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Thomas J.
