Somerset, NJ – Frank A. Kalibat, 92, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, November 19, 2006 at McCarrick Care Center in Somerset. Born in Jersey City to his late parents Matthew & Ona Kalibat, he had lived in Old Bridge before recently settling to Somerset.
Frank retired from Sunshine Biscuits of Long Island City, NY after many years of employment as a supervisor.
Besides his parents, Frank is predeceased by his dear siblings; Julia, Anthony, Peter and Rosalia Kalibat and by his granddaughter Erin Kalibat.
Frank leaves behind his devoted wife; Amelia (Balukas) Kalibat; his loving children; Irene and husband Michael Frantz of Lebanon and Francis Kalibat and his wife Nancy Records of Vermont. He will be missed by his 3 adored grandchildren; Mary-Lynn Litzinger, Jonathan Frantz and Kelly Diehl and by his 5 cherished great-grandchildren; Jennifer, Theresa and Kimberly Litzinger, Theodore Frantz and Hannah Diehl all of whom will miss him dearly.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2006 beginning 9:00am at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 followed by a 10:00am funeral liturgy at St. Matthias Roman Catholic Church in Somerset. Frank will be laid to rest in Resurrection Burial Park in Piscataway. Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours at the funeral home on Friday, November 24, 2006 from 2-4 & 7-9pm and on Saturday from 8:30am until service time.
