Flemington, NJ— Frederic M. Compher, 92, entered eternal life on Monday, September 19, 2022, at his residence with loving family by his side.  Born and raised in Hillside, NJ to the late Frederic M. Compher, Sr. and Agnes (nee Titus), he settled to Flemington in 1992.

Fred was a Service Station Owner most of his life, most recently the Conant Street Exxon in Hillside, NJ.  Fred proudly served his country in the United Sates Air Force and was an avid golfer.  He was a member of the Suburban Golf Club in Union and had a yearly golf tournament named after him, "The Compher Cup", which is still played today between Philadelphia and New Jersey.

Fred is survived by his loving children; Jan and her husband Michael Gonnella of Westfield, NJ, Randy Compher and his wife Sherry of Stroudsburg, PA and Scott Compher and his wife Kelly of Hillsborough, NJ.  He will be deeply missed by his six cherished grandchildren, Ryan, Alyssa, Connor, Kaycee, Cody and Corey, as well as his eleven adored great grandchildren.

Private funeral services have been entrusted to Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ.
