Loving Father & Grandfather

Hackettstown, NJ – Fredrick J. Satkowski, 74, entered eternal rest on Thursday, September 8, 2005 at his residence. Born in Dupont, PA to his late parents Joseph and Lottie Satkowski, he resided in Three Bridges and Branchburg before settling in Hackettstown in 1982.


Fredrick began his military career in 1952 when he joined the United States Army where he held rank as a Corporal until being honorably discharged in 1960. Fredrick was a retired machinist from the Somerset Technologies Inc. located in New Brunswick. In his spare time, he had a love and passion for bicycle riding.

He is survived by his loving and devoted children, Steve Satkowski of Jensen Beach, FL., Laura L. Jolliffe of Three Bridges and Valerie Barbato of Palm City, FL. His three adored grandchildren will miss him dearly.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service reflecting on Fredrick's life at the Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Thursday, September 15, 2005 from 6-8pm. A religious service will be held at the funeral home beginning at 7:00pm. Memorial donations can be made in his memory to Catholic Charities, Flemington Family Service Center, Park Avenue, Flemington, NJ 08822.
