Readington Township, NJ – George C. Martin, 57, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 8, 2006 at his home. Born in Elizabeth, George settled in Readington Township over twenty years ago.

George was predeceased by his dear mother Olive (Smythe) Martin and only three years ago by his loving brother Peter Martin in 2004.

He leaves behind his beloved wife of 34 years, Janice M. (Moschella) Martin, his two cherished daughters and sons-in-law Katherine and Scott Quarforth of Mechanicsville, VA and Jane and Matthew Shire of Newark, DE, his dear father Franklin Martin of Chatham, his loving sister and brother-in-law Diane and Robert Montgomery of Killington, VT, and his loving sister-in-law Faythe Martin of Martinsville.

A Memorial Service reflecting on George's life will be held on Monday, February 12, 2007 at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887. Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours at the funeral home on Monday from 4-6pm. Memorial contributions to Civil War Preservation Trust, P.O.
