Branchburg, NJ- Giacomina (Curatolo) Gentile, 89, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at Hunterdon Care Center in Raritan Township. Born in Sicily, Italy, daughter of the late Bartolomeo and Antonina (Zinerco) Curatolo, she had resided in Queens, NY since coming to the United States more than forty years ago, settling to Branchburg in 1995.

Giacomina enjoyed cooking and sewing, especially for her family. She is a past parishioner of St. Benedict Joseph Labre Roman Catholic Church in Queens and had attended services with her daughter at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church in Bridgewater.



Besides her parents, Giacomina was predeceased by her beloved husband Angelo Gentile on March 3, 1988.

Giacomina is survived by her loving children, daughter Ann DiMaggio of Charlotte, NC, son Giuseppe Gentile and his wife Nancy of Long Island, NY and daughter Anna and her husband Joe Margiotta of Long Island, NY; four dear sisters and a brother, Maria DiNatale, Francesca Zinerco, Josephine Russo, Dina Stallone and Frank Curatolo. She will be deeply missed by eight cherished grandchildren, Danielle, Jessica, Frankie, Jackie, Angelo, Joseph, Angelo and Max and by many adored nieces and nephews.



Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral liturgy for Giacomina on Friday, July 29 at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes, 455 Hunter Avenue, West Islip, NY 11795. Entombment will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Farmingdale, NY. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887.
