Hillsborough, NJ – Helen D (nee Petrisko) Baran, 92, entered into eternal life on March 30, 2021 peacefully at her home.  Helen was born in Hazleton, PA to the late Michael and Mary (nee Cherniga) Petrisko.

Helen was a member of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church in Three Bridges, NJ.  She was very artistic and skilled in many things to include quilting, gardening, faberge style egg decorating, and was a talented seamstress.  She had a passion for cooking and did so both for her family and their delicatessen in Middlesex, Boro Delicatessen, commonly known as George's.

Besides her parents, Helen is predeceased by her grandson Brian Baran; and five siblings, Michael, Ann, Mary, John, and George.

Helen leaves behind to cherish her memory her devoted husband of 72 years, George Baran; two loving children, Cynthia A. Beam and husband Lauris, and George M. Baran and companion Kim Markle; siblings, Joseph Petrisko and Agnes Augustine; and two adored grandchildren, Jessica Barber and Casey Baran.  She will be deeply missed by two cherished great grandchildren, Madelyn and Everly.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 from 4 to 7 p.m. and on Wednesday April 7, 2021 from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m.

Funeral services will begin on April 7, 2021 at 10:15 a.m. at the funeral home followed by an 11:00a.m. funeral liturgy at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church, 105 Summer Road, Three Bridges, NJ 08887.  Committal words and entombment will follow at Saint Magdalen Mausoleum in Flemington.
