Helen E. (Meyer) Meyer, 75, entered eternal life on Monday, December 1, 2014 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville, NJ. Born in Queens, NY to her late parents Dietrich H. and Emma E. (Abel) Meyer, Helen was raised in Queens and settled to Hillsborough in 1968 and was a resident of Foothill Acres Nursing Home in Hillsborough, NJ.



Helen was a homemaker, a Cub Scout Leader in Pack #289 and dedicated many years to the Hillsborough School System volunteering her time in various capacities.

Besides her parents, Helen was predeceased by her beloved husband John J. Meyer, Jr. in 1983.

Helen leaves behind to cherish her memory, two sons, Andrew and wife Christine Meyer of Hillsborough and Robert Meyer and fiancé Marybeth Schwalbach of Hillsborough; dear brother, Richard and wife Karin Meyer of Peoria, IL. She will be deeply missed by her three adored grandchildren, Garrett, Jorja and Morgan.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Thursday, December 4 from 4-8 p.m. Committal words and interment will take place at All Faiths Cemetery in Queens, NY at 1 p.m. on Friday, December 5.
