Pittstown, NJ- Helen C. Noordzy, 89, entered into eternal life on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Bridgeway Care Center in Hillsborough, NJ.  Born in Ridgefield Park, NJ, she lived in Staten Island most of her life before settling to Pittstown in 1988.

Helen was an avid bowler in the 60's and 70's belonging to the 700 Club several times.  She collected anything and everything to do with turtles and was a member of the International Turtle Club.  Helen worked as a telephone operator at the Halloran Veterans Hospital in Staten Island early in her life and later settled in as a housewife, caring for her family.

Besides her parents, Helen was predeceased by her husband Jack (John) Noordzy, her brother Paul Kempe , and granddaughter Jacqueline Farmer.

Helen is survived by her devoted daughter Kathleen and husband John Farmer of Pittstown, NJ and beloved grandson Robert Farmer.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Sunday, March 19 from 2-5 p.m.

At the family's request, funeral services will be private.
