Flemington, NJ--Helen June (Harney) Sutphin, 89, died peacefully on February 11, 2018.

June was a dedicated school bus driver in Hillsborough Township, NJ for over 35 years retiring in 1990.

In the 1950s and 60's June was an avid bowler, on several leagues over the years achieving team championships many times over.  Her social life focused on her love of Bingo at St. Mary's Church in Manville, NJ where she met her inner circle of friends that she held close until her passing.

June also focused her time rescuing stray cats and delivered them to the local animal shelter for adoption.  June had a passion to help all animals from abuse.

June is survived by her sister, Ruth Obszanski of Somerville, NJ; her daughters: Barbara A. Wass of Sarasota, Florida, Suzanne Sutphin, Florence D. Munro, Diane Sutphin-Scopetto and her husband Jeffrey Scopetto all of Flemington NJ; grandchildren, Michele L. Rigg, Samantha L. Young and her husband Crockett Young and Cole R. Scopetto, and her great grandchildren, Randall Rigg, Carlynn Rigg and  Nash C. Young.

A memorial celebration of June's life will be celebrated at a later date.
